v1 Core Available in the current macOS build; checkout is not open yet

Commander

Engineers and AI operators on a single Mac. Governed local runtime providing MCP connectivity to desktop automation, devices, and host actions.

$20 USD / month, for one Mac
Version 1 has no human confirmation prompts: actions run according to the profile you assign.
What is included
  • Single Mac control from AI clients via one local daemon and MCP bridge (daemon listens on 127.0.0.1)
  • Files, command execution, AppleScript, screenshots
  • List and input for Android (requires adb), device list for iOS/iPadOS and simulators (discovery only)
  • A separate revocable token can be issued for each AI client; revocation takes effect on the next request
  • Three permission profiles: owner-full (default), scoped (list of named capabilities), read-only
  • Not a sandbox: privileged tool for the machine owner, security comes from identity, authority, and leases rather than folder confinement
  • No human confirmation prompts before actions in v1: actions run according to the assigned profile
  • Shared startup token cannot be revoked in v1
  • On-screen GUI lock between clients (wait 3 s, hold 10 s)
  • Mutating actions require an idempotency key; repeated requests with the same key are not executed twice; on unknown outcome status is UNCERTAIN and blind repeat is rejected
  • No fake success: unsupported capabilities return an explicit error rather than a simulated success
  • Local operations log without a hash chain (client, tool, result, timestamp; request payloads are not stored)
